Val di Sole cycle path

The Val di Sole cycle path runs alongside the Noce Torrent, one of the major affluents of the River Adige, for a total length of 34.1 km.

The route starts out on the stretch of the cycle path furthest downriver, at the Mostizzolo bridge (km 0.00), where the Noce runs through a narrow ravine before flowing into Santa Giustina Lake, a large artificial basin closed off by an extremely high dam.

The cycle path runs from the 595-metre altitude of Mostizzolo to Cogolo (1160 metres), in Val di Pejo, a northern offshoot of the Upper Val di Sole, where the route becomes more challenging as a result of the steep gradients on some stretches.
